Duane Gilbert of Gilbert’s Watusi Cattle shared these photos with us to show some additional uses for our calves. This is his heifer Daisy.

This fall election of 2011 the members of the WWA voted on three three year positions to the Board of Directors.

We are pleased to announce that Jefferson Voss from Oakland, Florida; Dr. Benton Ellis from Dallas, Texas and Cindi Darling from Sparta, Missouri have been elected. Contact information on all three is available on the website and as with all Board members they will be happy to answer any questions that members have.

Our annual election to the Board of Directors is going out into the mail. Please make your choices and return to our CPA in the enclosed envelope as soon as you can. There are three open three year positions this year and running for the terms are Bob Boese of Hillsboro, Kansas; Cindi Darling of Sparta, Missouri; Benton Ellis of Dallas, Texas and Jeff Voss of Oakland, Florida. Please feel free to contact any of the candidates if you have a question.

To all Watusi lovers. It is now fall coming up and we have scheduled our Annual Membership meeting for Wednesday September 21, 2011 at 7:00pm. This will be held at Noland’s Catering, 302 Jims Road, Macon, Missouri. Sonny Noland is serving us one of his tasty meals. All are welcome, now is the time to bond with your fellow enthusiasts and meet new members. We will be holding our ‘Fun Auction’ so bring anything you would like to donate and plenty of cash for those items that you want to buy.

All are welcome, now is the time to bond with your fellow enthusiasts.

This red bull calf is out of my black bull and this mother

is TW SANDUSKY a very nice big horn cow. He will

have a big base and should put horns on you calves.

This red and white bull calf is out of my black bull..

I have showed him at the colorado state fair and

the Kansas fair and did very well in the show ring.\

He took home some CHAMPION AND RES.
